About Me

Lynn T. Leggett, MA LLP, is a fully certified School Psychologist and a Limited Licensed Psychologist, in the State of Michigan. I have 30 plus years of experience working as a Psychologist in the School and Clinical settings.  I am recently retired from working most of my career in the Grosse Pointe Public School System. I have dedicated my life to the role of case coordinator while providing direct support and interventions to general and special education students, consultations with teachers, families and other school-employed mental health professionals to improve school-wide practices and policies, and collaborate with community providers to coordinate communication support for all students. I have provided psychological evaluations and assessments (formal and informal) for new pupils referred for special education services and pupils already certified for special education services while following and administrating the Special Education Rules and Regulations of the State of Michigan.

I have worked many years planning and implementing educational intervention, curriculum, behavioral, (problem solving related to behavior management and impact to learning and adjustment) and teaching strategies/methods for general and special education students.

I am working with parents of general and special education students in Oakland County, educating them about the system and how it works; process, procedures, State of Michigan Rules and Regulations for Special Education and how to meet their goals for their children in the educational setting.
